Kevin Hubbard is a Vice President of Sagoma Construction International and Managing Partner of Sagoma Construction International TCI Ltd. Kevin specializes in ‘offshore’ resort and high-end residential development and construction projects. Kevin has vast experience working in offshore environments such as Antigua, Bermuda, Hawaii, Pacific Micronesia, the Bahamas, the Turks & Caicos and the Dominican Republic. He also successfully executed notable stateside projects such as the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida and the Gaylord Palms Hotel and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida. Additionally, he’s been involved with construction and management teams for several U.S. Department of Defense construction projects at the onset of his career.

Kevins boasts a strong ‘hands on’ background in general contracting, which began early on in his career, (Florida General Contractor’s License – Inactive Status). Making the decision to transition to the owner/developer side of the equation over 15 years ago has provided him with a unique understanding of all facets of the general contractor position, as well as, an understanding of the owner/developer vision. This understanding allows him to effectively implement, establish and maintain a strong relationship between contractor and owner based on credibility and mutual trust.

Joining the Leeward Group of Companies in the Turks & Caicos in 2005 Kevin served as the Director of Projects for projects that encompassed marine works, marina construction, shoreline stabilization and all vertical construction. He provided a pivotal role with this organization until late 2009 when the project came to a halt due to the economic downturn.

As an independent consultant, Kevin provided due diligence, pre-planning and construction management consulting services for various small group developers and owners in the Caribbean and south Florida region.

Kevin recognizes his career has come a long way from the time his construction experience began in the U. S Navy Seabees – Mobile Construction Battalion 74. His established abilities range from building pipelines and support facilities as a squad leader in a mobile combat construction battalion, to becoming a well-respected construction industry professional, involved in the development and construction of highend hotels and resorts.
